In compliance with the new data protection rules (GDPR) that came into force on 25 May 2018, you need to be confident that we protect the information you have given us to the best of our ability. To that end, we hope the following will answer your questions:
What data is being collected and how do we use it?
The Friends of Edington Priory Church only collect the information you give us when subscribing to become a member or making an enquiry.
The only people who have access to the data are the Treasurer and Secretary and it is used solely to keep members informed of events and news to do with Edington Priory Church, or if you have made an enquiry to answer as best we can.
Will the data be shared with any third parties?
The data is kept securely and NEVER divulged to anyone else, save the financial and revenue authorities that request it.
How long will the data be stored?
We will keep your details on file for as long as you remain a member of The Friends. But if you were to resign, we would keep the information for a maximum of seven years thereafter.
What rights does the data subject have?
You have every right to access your data at any time to correct it, remove it or object. All you need to do is contact the Secretary (secretary@edingtonfriends.org.uk), who will comply with your wishes.
