With the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions during the summer of 2021, a shortened Festival ran from Compline on the evening of Thursday 26 August until Eucharist on Sunday morning, 29 August. Numbers in the Priory church were limited, and services were live streamed via links on the Festival Association’s website.
Although the Festival is over, you can still catch up on live YouTube recordings of all the services by heading over to the Edington Festival 2021 website.
There’s also an opportunity to hear former Festival Director, Peter Barley, share reminiscences of his time with the Festival. His talk was recorded in St Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick, where he is now the organist, and the recording concludes with a short performance of two organ pieces.
